Town of Hanover Asks for Input into Local Service Review
Survey aims to solicit feedback from residents and service users

HANOVER, ON – The Town of Hanover is launching a public consultation survey today.  The survey has been designed to solicit feedback on the services the municipality provides to residents and the surrounding community.

“We take pride in the role we play for our local community,” said Brian Tocheri, Chief Administrative Officer for the Town of Hanover. “It is important for us to get feedback from our residents, and those who live in the surrounding area, to ensure that we are aligning service delivery with local needs.”

The launch of a public survey is part of the Town’s ongoing public consultation efforts to get input and insight from staff, residents, and those in the surrounding communities who work, shop and enjoy recreation in Hanover. This survey, in addition to the service delivery inventory developed in the first stage of the review, will help to determine options for increasing efficiency and effectiveness of the Town’s services.

The survey can be accessed by visiting hanoverlistens.ca and will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. It will be publicly accessible until 12:00 PM on Friday, July 21st, 2017.

Work on the service delivery review will continue throughout the summer and the Town will continue to provide updates as it proceeds.  

About the Service Delivery Review

In April, the Town began a service delivery review in order to identify opportunities to increase the efficiency of the Town in providing services that meet community expectations and requirements. The review is examining the types and levels of services the municipality provides and will identify opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness in various areas.
