The inaugural Mayor’s Breakfast for Business is occurring Thursday, October 5, 2023, from 7:30am-9:30am, and will take place at the Hanover Legion, Branch 130. A hot breakfast will be prepared by the Legion Ladies Auxiliary. The following Town of Hanover presentations will be delivered by staff to provide our business community and interested residents the opportunity to learn more about Hanover’s new Strategic Plan, our Community Profile, Age Friendly for Business, the Customer Service Portal, Building and By-law updates, as well as the opportunity for attendees to ask questions.
The desire to further engage our business community and help provide more information, as well as an outlet for them to share comments, questions or concerns was recognized by Mayor Paterson, Council and our Economic, Tourism and Cultural Development Advisory Committee. The idea of hosting a Mayor’s Breakfast for Business event to highlight these updates was born.
“The Town of Hanover Mayor’s Breakfast for Business recognizes our intentions to build on our mandate to provide regular communications to Hanover residents and stakeholders,” said Mayor Sue Paterson. “We are excited to work in partnership with the Hanover Chamber of Commerce, DIA and our HIPP Entrepreneur campaign to build on our communication and collaborative efforts,” she added.
