The course is located at Hanover Town Park - 780 7th Avenue. The course includes par 3 and par 4 holes and disc golfers should expect to walk approximately 1.43km to complete a round. With a beginner-intermediate course difficulty rating, the course design is suitable for all skill levels and encourages play from new players.

At the Parks, Recreation & Culture Advisory (PRC) Advisory Committee meeting, an area resident attended as a delegation and provided the committee with an overview of the sport of disc golf. The presentation included background of the outdoor activity, equipment required, suggested location and possible course design.
November 24th, 2021
At the PRC Advisory Committee meeting, members supported exploring the potential integration of a disc golf course into one of the Town’s green space properties provided there is demonstrated community support. At the January 26th, 2022 committee meeting, members supported establishing a Hanover Disc Golf Development Ad Hoc Committee.
May 11th, 2022
The Disc Golf Ad Hoc committee held their first meeting followed by monthly meetings held on the first Tuesdays of the month. This committee has identified a proposed course location at Hanover Park, 742 7th Avenue, Hanover, Ontario, N4N 2K1, utilizing the parks green space.
July 11th, 2023
The official Grand Opening of the 9-hole disc golf course took place on Tuesday, July 11th. The opening included speeches, a ribbon cutting ceremony, free hot dogs, prizes, a learn to play session and a closest to the basket contest.
September 24th, 2024
New “Short Tee” signage was installed, giving the course a secondly layout that is great for new players, and those working on shorter shots.
