The Town of Hanover and Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority (SVCA) would like to let residents know that work to install new safety fencing around the Hanover Dam will begin the week of November 2.
Work will start with the installation of chain link fencing. Decorative metal fencing will be installed later in November once it has been manufactured.
Trail and park users may notice construction activity and temporary disruptions in the area while work is underway. Please use caution and follow any signs or directions posted on site.
The new fencing as well as signage is being installed to improve safety around the dam area.
