Christmas Tree Depot
Christmas trees can be dropped off free of charge at the entrance to Hanover Park at 744 7th Avenue (west side) until January 5, 2024 or at the Hanover/Walkerton Landfill Site during regular business hours. Trees will not be collected curbside.
The following items can be placed in your bluebox for recycling:
Non-metallic gift wrap | Tissue Paper | Crepe Paper | Paper Streamers | Paper and Cardboard Cards (no foil products or decorations please) | Gift Bags (with rope or handle removed) | Cardboard Boxes (break down and remove plastic windows)
The following items must be placed in your household garbage:
Christmas Lights | Ribbon and Bows | Metallic Gift Wrap
