
The much-anticipated Music in the Square series is set to return for the 2026 season, bringing a vibrant lineup of live, local and free entertainment to Heritage Square.
Taking place the second and forth Saturdays in June, July and August from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., alongside the Eat Well Farmers’ Market, offering a perfect opportunity for residents and visitors to enjoy live music together with fresh local food and a relaxed picnic in the park atmosphere.
Special Event Highlight
A standout date on the calendar is June 27, when the square will host a Canadian Multiculturalism Day celebration and New Resident Welcome. The event promises a festive and inclusive atmosphere, featuring:

- Town Crier Jennifer Olivero
- Performer May Ip
- Petunia the Clown
- Performer Matty Sings
- A Saugeen Artists Guild exhibit
The event is designed to celebrate cultural diversity while warmly welcoming newcomers to the community.

This year’s program showcases an impressive roster of talent spanning genres from folk and country to pop and rock:
- He Said She Said (June 13)–Award winning recording artist, He Said She Said bring good vibes to all audiences! Forming in 2020, Shane & Jess have played many venues, special events, private parties and festivals! This Pop/Rock duo is a must see act.
- May Ip (June 27)–May Ip was born and raised in Hong Kong and immigrated to Canada in 1995. A songstress and storyteller who has performed at folk clubs and festivals in Hong Kong, Macau, England and Canada, her music is rooted in traditional folk songs and folk music.
- The Ruthven Sisters (July 11)–Homeschooled and raised together as classmates and best friends, The Ruthven Sisters unite their kindred spirits, weaving voices and messages together in close-knit harmony to share a genuine folk musical experience.
- Dave Menard (July 25)–With decades of experience spanning Southern Ontario’s festivals and pubs to international stages and major cruise lines, Dave Menard has established himself as a versatile and seasoned performer who plays crowd favourites from across the decades.
- Emily Power & Rick (August 8)–Soulful, Dynamic, Unforgettable! This powerhouse musical duo delivers a soulful, electrifying blend of sound that captivates audiences wherever they perform. A pop/rock duo you won't want to miss.
- Lisa McEwen & Steve Wilkinson (August 22)–Lisa McEwen, a celebrated local Nashville-Published Songwriter and Recording Artist, with guest Steve Wilkinson, a renowned singer-songwriter and founding member of The Wilkinsons, has significantly impacted Canadian country music.
