Hanover’s Music in the Square series will feature a special celebration on Saturday, June 27, combining a New Resident Welcome Event with Canadian Multiculturalism Day festivities at Heritage Square.

New residents are invited to pick up a Hanover New Resident Package and connect with the community while enjoying an extended lineup of free entertainment from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., alongside the Eat Well Farmers’ Market.

The event will showcase a vibrant and inclusive program, including greetings from Mayor Sue, a welcoming proclamation by Town Crier Jennifer Olivero, a performance by May Ip, family fun with Matty Sings and Petunia the Clown and an exhibit by the Saugeen Artists Guild.

Performer May Ip, a Hong Kong-born folk artist, brings an international background in storytelling and music, adding a meaningful cultural element to the day’s celebration.

The event reflects Hanover’s commitment to welcoming new residents and celebrating diversity through music, art and community engagement.

Music in the Square continues throughout the summer on the second and fourth Saturdays in June, July and August.
