The Town of Hanover is reminding eligible electors that today is the final day to cast their ballot in the municipal election. As of 9:30 a.m., 28.7% of eligible voters have cast their ballots in Hanover. The voting period closes tonight at 8 p.m.
Voter Information Letters (VIL) have been mailed to all registered electors. Each letter includes secure login credentials along with instructions on how to vote using either the internet or telephone—providing a convenient and accessible way to participate in this year’s election.
If you are an eligible voter in the Town of Hanover but did not receive your Voter Information Letter or require assistance with the voting process, help is available. Residents can visit:
- Hanover Public Library (voting centre only)
- Town of Hanover Municipal Office (341 10th Street) - to be added to the voters list or to receive a VIL. Eligible voters must visit the Municipal Office
Staff will assist with registration and provide support as needed. Please note that proof of identity and residence is required to be added to the voters’ list.
Ensure your ballot is cast before the 8 p.m. deadline!
