    The Cultural Roundtables of the Town of Hanover, Town of Minto and Township of Wellington North invite residents and local stakeholders to the Cultural Symposium on Friday, May 31 at the Hanover Civic Theatre.

    This is the second joint meeting of the Hanover, Minto and Wellington North Cultural Roundtables. The first was held in September 2023 in Harriston. The May 31 meeting is being opened up to neighbouring municipalities, chambers of commerce, BIAs, cultural organizations and other parties interested in attending.

    The May 31 event will be filled with insightful and engaging discussions as community leaders learn about cultural experience development.

    The event gets underway at 10 a.m. and is expected to conclude at 2 p.m.

    The agenda for the day includes:

    10:15-11:30 a.m. – Keynote Speaker: Malissa Bryan of the Rainbow Diversity Institute – “Implementing Equity, Diversity & Inclusion as Community Leaders”

    11:30 a.m. – Presentations from the Hanover, Minto & Wellington North Cultural Roundtables

    11:45 a.m – 12:15 p.m. – Lunch, catered by Launch Pad Skills Training & Technology Centre

    12:20-12:50 p.m. – Cultural Experience Development, led by Kim Clarke of Regional Tourism Organization 7

    12:55-1:50 p.m. – Ontario Culture Days Interactive Session, lead by Kaitlyn Patience of Ontario Culture Days

    Keynote speaker Malissa Bryan’s presentation is partially funded by the Economic Development Council of Ontario’s (EDCO) EDI Training Bursary Fund.
