🚨 Important Recycling Update for Hanover Businesses 🚨
Starting January 1, 2026, the Province of Ontario’s Blue Box Transition Program will change how recycling is handled for non-eligible properties — including many commercial, industrial, and institutional locations.
📦 Under the new producer responsibility model, recycling collection will no longer be provided by the Town of Hanover for these properties. Businesses will need to:
✅ Arrange private recycling collection
✅ Or transport recyclables to a recycling facility
