NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING
CONCERNING A PROPOSED MINOR VARIANCE
TAKE NOTICE that the Committee of Adjustment for the Corporation of the Town of Hanover will hold a public hearing, via Zoom, on:
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 11TH, 2025 AT 4:00PM
to consider a proposed Minor Variance Application under Section 45 of the Planning Act, RSO 1990 as amended.
This Minor Variance Application (A3-25) applies to lands located at 269 13TH A Ave described as Part of Lots 3 & 4, Registered Plan 751 in the Town of Hanover, in the County of Grey.
The purpose of this application is to vary the provisions of Zoning By-law 2912-15 for Maximum Gross Building Area for an accessory structure in the Residential Type 1 Zone (R1). The owner proposes constructing a detached garage of 30’ x 45’ at 269 13th A Avenue.
Provision – Section 7.2.3
Maximum Gross Building Area - 600 sq. ft. (By-law); 1350 sq. ft. (Proposed)

All submissions received in writing, and those opinions expressed at the Public Meeting, will be considered prior to the Committee of Adjustment decision.
