Road Reconstruction of 6th St A from 13th Ave to 15th Ave, 13th Ave from 7th St to 6th St A and 14th Ave from 7th St to 6th St A
The Town of Hanover is sending this notice to advise residents and tenants about the reconstruction of the following streets. This project was approved by council for construction in 2026.
A Public Information Centre (PIC) will be held at the Community Hall located at the Civic Centre, 341 10th Street on February 26th, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
This project involves the replacement of aging sanitary, water and storm sewer infrastructure as well as road work, including curb and gutter and a sidewalk on the north side of 6th St A. On behalf of the Town of Hanover, Cobide Engineering Inc. has completed the detailed design and will be managing this project.
We are giving you notice now in the event you were planning to do any driveway replacement, landscaping or other improvements to your property in 2026, as there may be an opportunity to coordinate your planned work from the back of curb or sidewalk to your house with the municipality’s work in an efficient manner.
The tender for this project is scheduled to be awarded in March 2026. Further updates regarding scheduling of the project will be provided closer to the start of the road reconstruction work.
