NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING
CONCERNING A PROPOSED MINOR VARIANCE
TAKE NOTICE that the Committee of Adjustment for the Corporation of the Town of Hanover will hold a public hearing, via Zoom, on:
THURSDAY, MAY 14TH, 2026 AT 4:00PM
to consider a proposed Minor Variance Application under Section 45 of the Planning Act, RSO 1990 as amended.
This Minor Variance Application (A3-26) applies to lands located at 180 13th A Ave described as Lot 13, Registered Plan 810 and Parts 3 & 4, Reference Plan 17R-1440 in the Town of Hanover, in the County of Grey.
The purpose of this application is to vary the provisions of Zoning By-law 2912-15 for the Maximum Gross Building Area for Accessory Structures within the Residential Type 1 Zone (R1).
Provision – Section {7.2(3)}
Maximum Gross Building Area for Accessory Structure - 56 m² / 600 ft² (bylaw) 89.18 m² / 960 ft² (proposed)

ANY INTERESTED PERSONS wanting to address the Committee of Adjustment at the public hearing, can speak via Zoom. If you wish to address the Committee during the meeting, please contact the Secretary-Treasurer by calling 519.364.2780 Ext. 1280 by 4:30 PM on Wednesday, May 13th, 2026. Staff will provide you with details on how to participate in the meeting. You can also view the livestream of the meeting at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84418445385 All submissions received in writing, and those opinions expressed at the Public Meeting, will be considered prior to the Committee of Adjustment decision.
