
Voter Information Letters for the 2026 Municipal Election were mailed on September 30 and should arrive in residents’ mailboxes during the week of October 5.
Voter Information Letters contain important information about voting in the upcoming election, including:
• Your unique PIN
• Voting instructions
• Voting website and phone number

Didn’t get your Voter Information Letter or your information is incorrect?
If you do not receive your Voter Information Letter by October 16, or your information is incorrect, please contact the Town of Hanover’s Election Team to confirm that you are on the Voters’ List or to be added. Contact the Election Help Centre at 519-364-2780 or email civic@hanover.ca
Voting Period and Help Desk Hours
The voting period opens on October 16 at 10 a.m. and closes on October 26, 2026 at 8 p.m.
The Municipal Office is a designated Help Centre and Voting Centre and will have voting stations set up in the office beginning October 16.
Staff will also be on hand during extended service hours on the following dates and times.
Tuesday October 20 - 8:30 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Saturday October 24 - 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
October 26, Election Day - 8:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.
The Hanover Public Library is a Voting Centre only and will assist voters during their regular library hours during the voting period.
