10th Street to Close October 30 for Trick or Treat Trail
Residents and visitors are advised that 10th Street will be closed between 7th Avenue and 13th Avenue on Friday, October 30, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. to accommodate the 13th Annual Trick or Treat Trail.
The temporary road closure will help ensure a safe environment for children and families attending the community event. Local emergency services will be on site, with a Hanover Police Service cruiser positioned at the west end of the closure and a Hanover Fire Department truck stationed at the east end.
Children and families are invited to enjoy treats from participating members of the community between 3:30 p.m. and 5 p.m.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area during the closure and plan alternate routes where possible. Businesses are encouraged to notify customers and clients in advance, and residents are asked to ensure vehicles are removed from the affected section of 10th Street before 3 p.m.
The Town of Hanover appreciates the public's patience and cooperation and looks forward to another fun and safe Trick or Treat Trail.
