NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING
CONCERNING A PROPOSED MINOR VARIANCE
TAKE NOTICE that the Committee of Adjustment for the Corporation of the Town of Hanover will hold a public hearing, via Zoom, on:
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 14th, 2026 AT 4 PM
to consider a proposed Minor Variance Application under Section 45 of the Planning Act, RSO 1990 as amended.
This Minor Variance Application (A5-26) applies to lands located at 385 13th Avenue described as Lot 18, Registered Plan 827 in the Town of Hanover, in the County of Grey.
The purpose of this application is to vary the maximum gross building area provision for an accessory structure in the Residential Type 1 Zone (R1) under Zoning By-law 2912-15. The owner proposes to construct an 875 sq. ft. detached garage at 385 13th Avenue.

ANY INTERESTED PERSONS wanting to address the Committee of Adjustment at the public hearing, can speak via Zoom. If you wish to address the Committee during the meeting, please contact the Secretary-Treasurer by calling 519.364.2780 Ext. 1280 by noon on Tuesday, October 13th, 2026. All submissions received in writing, and those opinions expressed at the Public Meeting, will be considered prior to the Committee of Adjustment decision.
